An immigrant entrepreneur who built a national frozen-yogurt company.

Daniel J. Kim immigrated from South Korea as a child and graduated from Bellflower High School in 1994.

He founded Red Mango. By the end of 2010 the company had grown to 100 locations, according to Nation’s Restaurant News. He is a UC Berkeley Haas graduate and later held senior roles at Tesla, Coinbase, and Airbnb.

He has been named to “40 Under Forty” and “Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business.”
